Texas Turkish American Chamber of Commerce held its Networking and Business Development Dinner at Turquoise Center with keynote speaker Lori Vetters, the Regional President of Wachovia Bank. Lori Vetters is also the chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Education & Workforce Advisory Committee. In her speech, she gave  an  overview of  US economic trend in past 25 years  and shared  important statistics of  US  economic forecast. She mentioned  the significant drop of total financial services value.

In  year 2007, total financial value was 1,941 B dollars but at present,  it is  464 B dollars.  Thus,  there is a 1,477 B dollars  that melted down in the preceding years which is  not favorable for 2009. Members of TTACC and guests enjoyed the evening with delicious Turkish cuisine coupled with  networking and socialization.
