I-SWEEEP 2010 brought together over 1,000 brightest science like-minded students and their supervisors in Houston. Young scientists from 70 countries and 43 U.S. states displayed their 470 science projects about pressing issues of energy, engineering, and environment I-SWEEEP is organized by the Cosmos Foundation which is a member Texas Turkish American Chamber of Commerce

Winners of I-SWEEEP not only received a medal for hard work but also scholarships and monetary awards totaling $350,000. The weeklong event also brought together a wide array of people universities, K-12 institutions, government agencies, and energy industry. Texas Railroad Commissioner, Elizabeth Ames Jones was in attendance in the long waited opening night and greeted I-SWEEEP students.

I-SWEEEP 2010 kicked off with a huge start. International Sustainable World Project Olympiad, known as I-SWEEEP is a premier science event organized by Cosmos Foundation.

Winners of I-SWEEEP not only receive a medal for hard work but also monetary awards and scholarships from universities and businesses.

The official opening ceremony was on April 15 and brought together a wide array of people universities, K-12 institutions, government agencies, and energy industry. Texas Railroad Commissioner, Elizabeth Ames Jones was in attendance and greeted I-SWEEEP students.
