As the largest and most widespread non-governmental organization in the Turkish business community, TUSKON endeavors to promote Turkey's tremendous economic potential to the world by organizing international business summits under a unique concept that we call "Foreign Trade Bridges." Foreign Trade Bridge programs have not only polished the image of Turkey as a reliable source of services and industrial products that offer diversified product spectrums and balanced quality-and-cost schemes; but have also provided us with the opportunity to extend our hospitality and friendship to people from different parts of the world. After organizing nine "Foreign Trade Bridge" events, TUSKON today has become a very well-known and well-trusted brand in the international business community.

A Bridge for the Entire World

The flagship of TUSKON's foreign trade bridge programs, "Turkey-World Trade Bridge 2009" (TWTB 2009), was organized in Istanbul, Turkey during June 1-7, 2009. A total of 2,250 business people from 135 different countries, and 3,000 businesspeople from Turkey, participated in TWTB 2009. A full 120,000 bilateral business meetings took place between Turkish and international participants. These meetings are estimated to produce a trade volume of 7-billion U.S. dollars in the near future. In this respect, TWTB 2009 program took its place in the history of global trade as the largest business match-making summit ever organized.
